Little Axe child nutrition will hand out meals tomorrow, June 1, 2021, for all children 18 and under from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in front of the elementary school.
In the event of tornado weather the high school safe room will be open this evening. To enter, come to the high school gym and follow directions from school staff. No pets will be allowed to enter the safe room.
This afternoon Little Axe Middle School was made aware of and confiscated a BB gun that had inadvertently been left in a student’s backpack and brought to school. At no time were any students, or staff, in any danger or threatened. As a precaution, the proper authorities were notified and the situation is under control.
The City of Norman has lifted the citywide mask mandate, effective immediately. Additionally, the state notification system is showing our area in yellow. Due to this information, the wearing of masks as part of our district policy will now be optional for the final two days of our school year.

The K20 Center’s GEAR UP program is excited to announce the K20 QUEST web app. QUEST is a tool that families can use to find information about preparing for a postsecondary education. Through the web app, families will find a grade-level checklist and other helpful resources to assist families as they navigate through each year of high school. Please Mark your Calendar!! The date for pick up meals for virtual students and children under the age of 18 has changed.
Starting Monday March 29th, meal pick-ups will be on Monday's for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. You can come and pick up your meals from 10 am to11:30 am in drive-through style. To receive meals, please enter the bus lane on the north end of the elementary, drive in front of the elementary school, and someone will serve you 7 days worth of meals. Please stay in your vehicle.
Little Axe public School will be serving virtual meals to members of the community under 18 years old during spring break on Monday, March 15th from 10 am to 12 pm in drive-through style. Due to inclement weather and the possibility of rolling blackouts, Little Axe Public Schools will be postponing our second night of Parent Teacher Conferences by one week to Thursday(2/25). Please contact your child's school office if you have any questions.
Little Axe Public Schools will be serving 5 days of meals, drive through style, in front of the elementary tomorrow, Tuesday February 16, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am. Meals are served to any member of the community eighteen years and under regardless of school attendance. Please stay in your vehicle, and we will bring the meals to you.
